Would you happen to know if you can use your own router with their service? I currently have a device that I use for my Semi Truck that is setup with T-Mobile Home Internet but I also want to use it with something connected to the Verizon towers when I'm in places where T-Mobile just doesn't exist. Does that IMEI check deny devices from connecting to the service unless it's their specific device?

Does anyone know how to update the firmware and also I'm trying to get the straight talk router to only act as the connection however run the actual connection through my tp link archer ax a800 as its wifi 6 and the straight talk router is only 5 and well my router has more power then straight talk router, so if anyone knows how to do that efficiently, because it's fussy everytime I connect the router via Ethernet it does beef up to speed and has more solid connection however when I try to go in my actual router page from tp-link it keeps routing back to the straight talk router page and I have to reset my tp-link router like factory reset that I can get back in it does to see the operation routes back to the same page ita annoying

I live out in the country and no fiber optics in my area but i do have 5g Verizon cell service so i bought this even though it said my address wasnt covered i just used a friends address and it works perfect so far and much better then the AT&T hotspot i had at first

I can say if your just using for yourseof and your par er perse its excellent,and i habet used the wifi sonce ive had it only to log into the router page remotely with my phone otherwise Ethernet as its always better regardless of speeds, nevertheless we use hundreds of gigs,if bot terybites and speeds are great compared to both Xfinity and Hughesnet which ive had both of to put it easily hughes has been suspended for 5 months now because thier speeds are garbage and funny enough,the fusion internet uses Verizon as well as broad band and it doesn't come close to these speeds

Since there's no display screen on the router how do you know if you're receiving a 5G signal from the Tower or a 4G signal? Everytime I run a Speedtest I get 100mbps download and 9 to 10mbps upload.

i paid 699 for mine. microsoft has done an ok job of fixing many of the flow (or lack of flow) issues that this device had when it first came out. it's pretty much bug free at this point and flows pretty good.. it is much more intuitive these days.. and because it's no longer the newest phone it can be found for a good price. these have issues with the charging port plastic breaking so many users recommend using magnetic charging plugs / wires. its worth 699 to me just to have a pocket laptop which does handle multiple browsing tabs open at the same time.

There is an app called LTE discovery it's a free app it will tell you what band your on. Also download signal check lite to see your signal quality it's free as well I use them all the time.
